Let's face it, my son isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, and I don't expect that to change much over the years. My wife blames my flat-out refusal to help him with his homework (my dad taught me: if you can't figure it out on your own, you're probably too stupid), and I blame my wife for her postpartum depression that has lasted an inexplicable *four years* after our son was born.
Regardless of who's to blame, all I know is that the kid struggles with even the simplest spelling tests, so what chance does he have of ever being a scientist, or a lawyer?
So, I figured, I might as well prepare him for his life of disappointment by dressing him up as a UPS delivery guy for Halloween.
My son affectionately calls our UPS guy the "Present Man," which is cute and all, but more often than not our "Present Man" is delivering boxes for my wife's Cake of the Month club.
Or, as I like to call it: the five-pound box that puts fifteen-pounds on my wife.
Anyway, the costume is well made, and the little guy actually looks pretty adorable in it. My only real complaint is that our "Present Man" wears shorts all year, not the one-piece jumpsuit seen in the above photo, but that's neither here nor there. My son loves the costume (he's been wearing it for two weeks straight), and he's even expressed an interest in "being a 'Present Man' one day," so it's comforting to know that I no longer have his college tuition to worry about.
Now, if I could only figure out a way to cancel my wife's Cake of the Month membership...

My daughter loved this costume and it looked great on her. She is 5 years old and it would definately fit her next year as well. She is about 45" tall. I put a shirt on underneath to keep her warm on a cool night and bought a pair of mocassins to finish this outfit. Pretty decent quality except for the leg coverings, the string that ties around it came off the first time she wore them.
